{YA Minute Review} Queen of the Dead by Stacey Kade

{YA Minute Review} Queen of the Dead by Stacey Kade

After being sent back from the light, Alona Dare - former homecoming queen, current Queen of the Dead - finds herself doing something she never expected: working. Instead of spending days perfecting her tan by the pool (her typical summer routine when she was, you know, alive), Alona must now cater to the needs of other lost spirits. By her side for all of this - ugh - “helping of others” is Will Killian: social outcast, seer of the dead, and someone Alona cares about more than she’d like. (Blurb via Goodreads)

{Review}
On television, ghost-talkers run antique stores, solve crimes, or stand on a stage in a nice suit giving the teary-eyed audience a toothy, yet sympathetic grin." (page 1, line 1)
Alona is still dealing with being dead, Will is still dealing with her. In this book we learn a little more, about Will's Dad and how Alona's world works. It was both a short read, only 266 pages and a quick read as the story was fast paced. Without being spoilery I wasn't a big fan of the turn the story and where Alona ended up but I was intrigued about what will happen next, the consequences of their choices, how things will work in their altered circumstances.
